The 1.6 Gallon StepOn Wastebasket is the perfect solution for small spaces around the home! The color-accented, textured foot pedal easily engages with a slight step to smoothly open the lid. Nested inside of the base is a removable liner that accommodates a standard-sized plastic shopping bag. The liner offers a bag-holding feature that keeps the bag from sliding out of place, as well as hidden from view when the lid is closed. Q: I purchased this and the label says it hides trash bags. We are unable to see how to use trash bag with this without keeping the lid from opening correctly.

You get what you pay for. I bought two. The lid separates from the hinges on one of them, and on both of them the gray bucket insert refuses to fit back inside after we empty it and yes, I line the grooves up correctly. It’s impossible to fit back in after tying a trash bag around it, and overall it’s just a very clumsy and cheap product.

The trash can was the size I was looking for but was disgusted to find that it had a brown liquid in the lid and the can smelled like it had been used and returned. Can't believe it was put back on shelf or pulled for my drive up order.

This is a cute little white plastic trash can can be used for home office or bathroom. It's much cheaper than other trash cans and has a great look (just like photo). If you want something more sturdy or not plastic you will have to pay more but this is great for the price point.
