Q: How do you get a trash bag in this to stay on? I have not been able to get a standard kitchen trashbag in this.
A: Hello kejesm, located on the base of the wastebasket, there are 2 notches on the backside. With the lid on top of the base, hook the lid onto the notches and press firmly until you hear an audible click. When inserting the trash bag, wrap it around the front and sides of the wastebasket. Doing so will create enough tension to keep the trash bag secured on the back side and will stay in place during use.

submitted byMai - 1 year agoA: the correct answer is hold it awkwardly and have it fall twenty times. get mad. try to only do one side. fail a few times.start punching the side of the lid until it clicks. repeat on the other side.

Q: What are the dementions of the LID, not the can, the lid. It appears that the lid sticks out farther than the base and that will determine if I can use it in the space I have.
