We test all of our stoneware for heavy metals, and these have passed. CPSIA is a testing protocol that applies to children’s products and since this is not a children’s product, we use a different set of standards that are still extremely strict. These are so pretty and just what I was looking for but they are soooo delicate. The sets of 4 made it through shipping and the dishwasher so I thought they would be okay. My first time using a plate, I noticed a big crack when I was done eating. Really disappointed because I bought enough for 12 place settings and it feels like a big waste of money. :(

Ordered on line. Arrived in once piece. Purchased as a set so had the origional packaging. The finish is nice and they are decent for casual use. I don’t think they will hold up for very long. Cheap earthen ware that will and does chip very easily and they get very hot in the microwave. Don’t think they will last very long.

I have it 4 stars because I haven’t used them yet. I was able to find the entire set in store. I will never purchase glass items online for shipping, just like all the reviews everything ends up broken. I’m glad I found this instore. It’s more gray in color than cream, but it’s a very pretty color. This will go with my new gray kitchen when we move.

Sadly it arrived with a huge chipped side despite the many layers of cardboard lattice wrapping which seemed secure when I was unwrapping it. I think Target should change that.

I don't know who is packing these items in the warehouse before shipping them out but you can't put 5 plates in a shipping box without wrapping them in bubble wrap and adding packing peanuts to glass/ceramic products in a box. I have ordered 3 times now and get an alert that the plates are reported broken before they even get delivered to me. They are going to be discontinued before I get a whole set to match all of the coordinating pieces I already received. They seem to wrap the small plates and cups the proper way, just not the big plates. It's seriously a joke when I open the box and see a bunch of pieces and no packing peanuts or bubblewrap or protective cardboard.
