Q: Some pictures the wood is very light, with yellow tone but a few of the customers pics are more of a neutral brown. Which is more accurate?

This wooden cake stand with glass cloche is absolutely beautiful and perfect for displaying cakes. The design adds a lovely rustic charm to my table setup. I’ve also used the stand for serving appetizers and small pastries—it works great for both! The only drawback is that the wood isn’t sealed or polished, so it tends to absorb oil or moisture from certain foods. A quick fix could be placing a barrier like parchment paper or a doily underneath. Overall, it’s a great purchase—versatile, eye-catching, and functional!

I love the hearth & hand designs and was excited about using this stand for Christmas, but as another reviewer said, the glass cloche is so very thin that as I was washing it so carefully by hand it literally broke off in my hand. Luckily, I wasn't cut by the glass. But now I have to decide if I want to spend another 40 bucks to order a glass cloche from Amazon which may or may not fit. Disappointed to say the least

I had the older version of this, but after a few years the glass case got shattered. I got this as a replacement and it is such a poor quality compared to the older one. It doesn't even have the heart and hand metal logo plate. And it is much smaller, so I can't just use the glass case on my older base. Disappointed in this one. Save a few bucks and just buy the threshold version because there is no difference in quality.

Such a cute cake stand! Love the natural wood and glass combo. Easy to handwash and dry with cloth. The glass is not very thick so I suggest extra care around children. It is a beautiful cake stand :)

I love the size of this cake stand. I can fit about 8 muffins on it and it’s perfect for keeping baked goods fresh. I do feel that the color of wood is slightly more yellow than it appears online but maybe that’s just my lighting. Overall I’m very happy with it and I plan to use the glass cloche for other cake stands as sell.
