I used this wooden round for a laser engraved wedding gift. The gift came out pretty decent, but the wood sanded a bit unevenly when I attempted it. I just used some scrap sandpaper as opposed to an orbital sander. Overall, the performance was decent for the price.

I took a chance, because I couldn’t find peppermint lollipops this holiday season. I purchased 5 of these and they worked out beautifully. I spray painted and paint went on smoothly. I used acrylics and the paint went on smoothly. We drilled into the wood and no issues; great thickness. The finishing touch beveled edges, which raised it a level of elegance.
