Q: Hello, are these whitening strips pretty dry? They do not seem to have any product on them. I am not sure if that normal for these strips.

Q: The directions say to not brush right before using. Are you supposed to brush after? Or do you brush 30 or so minutes before, giving your teeth time between each step?

I’m a dentist, and I use over-the-counter products so I can give patients feedback and recommendations. These white strips are similar to other named brands in that they stick well to your teeth, and each set contains an upper and lower strip. They suggest using the product for 30 minutes. Sadly, I find that these strips are particularly harmful to the gums and lips; my lips get pruned and my papilla has started to slough after just two uses. Also, and most disappointingly, these strips do not whiten as quickly as the common named brand that I typically recommend. I love to save money, for both myself and my patients; however, I cannot recommend these strips after using them due to their slow whitening process but mostly due to the soft tissue destruction while using them. These are my original opinions.

Despite what other reviewers are saying, I actually feel like these stick onto my teeth way better than other brands. They don't leave my teeth feeling as sensitive as Crest, but they really irritate my gums! I probably wouldn't repurchase for that reason.
They may work if you can get them to stick

I was pleasantly surprised! These strips worked better than the Crest ones. They had clearer instructions; stayed in place longer and I didn’t get a sore throat like I did from the Crest strips. My 70 year old teeth look brand new.

This product worked much better than a different whitening kit that I had purchased that was pretty expensive. The strips were easy to apply and use. I put a strip on my bottom and top teeth while I got ready for work and they worked amazingly well. I will recommend this product to my family and friends.

I would say these work almost as well as the next leading brand, so the lower cost is worth it. Everyone is complaining that they slide right off your teeth, but just like any other white strip, you need to wipe your teeth dry before you put them on. Definitely saw a little bit of a difference!

OK first of all they are too small -width, and length. Secondly, they don’t always stick. Sooo frustrating. I’m continuing to use because I have spent the money and I am having to push on them constantly to keep them sticking and I’m not seeing any whitening.

The price was better than Crest strips and some Target products are fine. Not this one. I did upper teeth first to compare. After 12 days no difference between upper and lower teeth. I didn’t bother doing my lower teeth.
