Q: What are the actual dimensions of this dishpan?

A: Presumably the 15.63" lenght is at the top. The top of my sink is 15-3/8" (15.4") wide. And what's with the sloping sides? Those pans would fit underwater if the sides were more vertical.

I bought two of these a year and a half ago when I moved into my new house, which doesn't have divided sinks. About a week ago, one of the pans cracked on the side rim as I was washing it out after doing dishes, causing it to bow out. I bought a replacement. Now, the second original purchase has cracked in the same spot along the rim. Not happy with a 1.5-year lifespan when put to its intended use.

The sides are not straight and they angle inwards at the bottom so you can’t fit as much in the tub. It’s really just wasted space. Ended up buying a better quality name brand for the exact same price at a blue big box retailer.

I bought the basin to wash dishes. The bottom is not smooth and does not seem to have any coating so it absorbs every stain and always looks dirty.
