Q: Is the drain matt white or clear_kind of difficult to tell from photo and 'details' doesnt mention colour. thanks!

A: LOL, the Target Support Staff didn't even read the question! Their answer doesn't even address the question which asked about color. Likely a bot response. The rack is slightly transparent.

Q: Is drainage spout on 18" side, or 15" (shorter) side? I understand it's slanted. Is it slanted towards 18" (longer) side, or shorter side?

Besides being a large piece of unrecycleable but very scratchable plastic (day 1- keep knife tips up I guess?) the incline does not drain properly or nearly at all and the dried water marks are unsightly. I do not like that a cup has a natural water seal that needs to be turned over or moved to let more water drain or dry.. would go back to a towel if i thought someone would pick this up used.

I know I’ve been living under a rock, but I didn’t know these existed until a couple of weeks ago. Until now, I have just used the dish drying mats that sit on the counter, but I upgraded to this paired with a drying rack from hearth and hand. It’s a huge upgrade, and I’m thrilled that the water just goes right down the sink drain rather than soaking into a mat, which is one less thing I have to launder!

This is great. I use the flat side up so that I don’t have to worry about scrubbing between each indent. It’s very practical you don’t even need to use it with a dish drainer if you really want to keep it simple.

We have a very small kitchen, with very limited counter space and cabinet space. There really isn't anywhere for a dish rack to live, so we'd just been laying out towels on the counter, but of course they end up soaked and eventually musty. We ended up buying this product (and only this product, no sitting a rack on top). It has been such a major upgrade! We use just this board next to sink when drying dishes, and then store the board with our cutting board in a cabinet when not in use. It takes up almost no space and solved our soggy towel issue. Could not recommend more for anyone who wants a place to dry their dishes that isn't something that has to live on the counter when not in use.

It is a basic dish drainboard. The tilt angle is not enough if you have a sink with a lip. You may have to put a shim underneath it, or use a drying mat. But if basic is all you need, this may work for you.

This thing isn’t giant, but great for cups/kids dishes. It likely couldn’t accommodate an entire family’s dishes unless you’re minimal and get one for both sides of the sink. We are a family of 4 and use this (1) for one end of the sink with no extra attachment on top and have a roll up type one over part of the sink for larger dishes, like pots and pans. We also have a dishwasher, but these are for quick in between washes or non dishwasher safe items. It’s perfect for when I need to wash a few cups, sippy cups, kids bowls, and don’t want a huge drying rack taking up a lot of space or my issue was blowing through rags and having extra laundry. Also easy to store by setting upright against a counter wall in the kitchen. Yes, the water does collect inside and it doesn’t actually drain into the sink, but the shape does allow for the dishes to dry by air circulation. Pro/common sense tip.. after the dishes are dry and put away, knock the extra water into the sink by slapping it on its side and either let it air dry from there or wipe over with minimal effort for a complete dry. Give wet dishes an extra shake shake before setting dripping wet stuff on it. For $8, this will save us a lot of extra daily laundry from using a bunch of rags to dry all day long.

I have been searching for years for a self draining dish drainer. The tilt is just enough for water to run freely into the sink and the plastic has a smooth coating that helps aid in the draining. The little extension directs water right into the sink. I don’t have to put shims under my dish drainer anymore! I bought two more as back up.
