Q: what is the size of the base, so I can put this on a plant stand and keep it off the ground?

A: bottom is irregular shaped - about 13 x 12. It has 6 non-equal length sides. You could put a drain plate inside, and a pot above that. And cover the opening with moss. It's great looking!

A: 3 gallon sized pot will fit, however, the opening, and the planter itself is very wide. I'd suggest a plant with lots of leaves to cover the opening, or plant right into it, there's a drain hole.

Love this pot! It completes the update to our covered outdoor patio. The color is a soft white and the shape is so unique - looks like a piece of sculpture. Looking forward to planting a variety of herbs in this pot.

I liked everything about this planter. It looks so futuristic! Please keep Hilton Carter at target around. When he did his first released, it was bomb. Then we never saw him again until now, but he is more than worth it. Please keep him around. Thank you.

I have looked at a few planters of a similar style however they were 3x the price of this with about the same size. I love how large it is, it has a hole in it and I have put in a Giant bird of paradise and it looks great. There is enough room for the roots. I am using it outside on my patio.

This white planter is light, but solid. It is rather large for my room and for my plant. I really like the modern and clean design. It looks great in my living room. The white isn’t stark. I recommend.

This is a very nice, quality outdoor planter. I plan on putting it to good use once we get some warmer weather for outdoor for outdoor planting. I ike that it has a rubber drain plug too. It isnt too heavy that its hard to move around either.
