LAVA 14.5" Rose Gold Novelty Table Lamp: Electric Wax Motion Light for All Ages, No Assembly Required

My daughter really loves this lovely lamp. She is eight years old and she has dropped it a couple times and the glass is extremely strong and hasn't broken on her wood floor.

I’ve had this lava lamp for about 7 months now and I love it so much! It’s working great and it’s such a calm, vibey glow in a dark room, it’s great for relaxing. I do want to mention that before I bought this color I tried to get the one with the rainbow base- the liquid on the first one was completely cloudy and it never worked- exchanged it for a different rainbow one and had the same problem. Third time was a charm with this color- I absolutely do NOT recommend the other one!

I bought this lava lamp today and it maybe worked for about an hour and then just shut off and wouldn't turn on again. I followed the instructions and tried everything I could to get it back on.

Sparks flew the moment I plugged it in and made all the lights in the house shut off. The prong that goes in the outlet is now melted and black.

Greatly packaged, my daughter loves this lamp, color is vibrant and works perfectly.

This was nice, but it topples easily. The lava also globs together, and the thing has to get turned off.. I wasn't too sure about leaving it on, so I returned it

As many other reviews state, the lava does not flow at all. It doesn’t move! It really does not work.

I really am enjoying this lava lamp. The colors are perfect for my space. It took a little time for the lamp to warm up, but once it was going for a little, it was so cool to watch.

Was good while it worked by stopped moving lava around after a couple of months. Pretty disappointing because now it is useless.

Love this lava lamp! I bought a bunch of different colors/styles both in-store and online after reading reviews saying they are cloudy. I exchanged this in the store for one with clear fluid. It's OK to ask to open the boxes and inspect them before buying. I was able to exchange all of my cloudy ones for clear ones in just one trip. These get cloudy when they are shipped during hot seasons. They get jostled around after the wax has melted in the package. Order during fall or spring for best results maybe?

The lamp stops working after a very short period of time. A few weeks tops. Very disappointing especially for the price.

Great lava lamp!! I would definitely recommend this. My daughter loves this. It is a great option for Christmas or birthday presents.

To me, this one has the best all around colors of base/lava/water color. It just looks good and the metallic base works for adults/household areas just fine. It’s not some cheap painted designs or junky decals. if you have experience with Lava lamps you’ll know that at this price point, It’s really a good deal. I have several different types from this manufacturer and they are generally better quality than has been available for at least10years. The same issue from before is still with us, just not nearly as bad, i.e. the bulbs are not high quality long life bulbs. For most part, they do work for a while weeks to months so our tryout to like it, but you should just go ahead and look into buying high-quality bulbs if you like yours there’s nothing like going out just when you turn it on to binge watch all weekend or have people over. They do get hot and most bulbs that I’ve prematurely broken are when I moved it when on or just after I just turned off. Basically it was still too hot so I dropped them back on the table. That’s a big no-no for filament bulbs, especially right after one was on. They seem to be most fragile then. These bulbs are no better than average life lightbulbs. They are much better than the crap that used to be put in. I’ve had lava lamps for 30 years so I’ve gone through a lot of bulbs. Buy some spares/keep them where these smaller bulbs won’t get mixed into other things. I find Lava Lamps the best for the cold winter evenings where it gets dark early—they heat up the place a little bit and then most enjoyable and low light if you’re watching TV/movies and soothing for fidgety or ADHD kids/adults. I have them on timer/wifi plug w/scheduling options (FEIT Electric brand) so they actually help me gradually wake up with the low level of light. They are already flowing when I get home or to the office so if you like them, go ahead and get a couple of different colors and wifi plugs w/schedule features. I think it’s a 25 W small base microwave type—see the insert they have included for matched bulbs.

I got 2 different types and they both work great after a few days this one particularly stopped working but I just got replacement bulbs off Amazon and it’s working again great

Unfortunately I bought this yesterday and when I plugged it in for the first time the bulb sparked and blew out. I’m returning this item.

I just bought this in-store this evening (for pickup) and plugged it in. It’s been plugged in and turned on for over an hour and nothing is happening… I see a light but no movement. I’m wondering if this was a broken one someone returned now…
