We bought two of these lights to replace tired old fixtures in the kitchen area. These lights are solid and the incorporated LED lights cast a warm light that is at once diffuse and bright. It almost has the quality of a skylight in terms of light coverage. I was worried they would be like fluorescent lights but not at all. Even though our space is small, these would work well in a larger area.
