I bought a Sauder lateral file cabinet 20 years ago. The weight of the files and moving it several times around California finally made it start to fall apart. The replacement I just bought and put together is a better one with a steel frame and will, I'm sure, out last the last one. Every part and screw matched their hole perfectly, and even though it takes some time to assemble, the instruction sheets are very easy to read and understand. Sauder kits have been a wonderful answer for many of my furniture needs. Good job Sauder.

Extremely cheap, missing a piece so couldnt fully build one of the file cabinets. The drawers dont slide smoothly. I WANT A REFUND ??

When I tried to return the unopened package of the second file box I was unable to because it was outside of the 1 week window. It was over a weekend and I couldnt call in a weekend.

I didnt keep exact track of time but it took me working alone about 3 hours to put this together. Instructions were very good though. I found pieces B and C poor put together - screws were lose when I opened the box and even this that were tight didnt seem to hold the side piece very well. Other than that all the parts are well marked - dont remove from bags until you need them!
