submitted bySquaretrade Support - 6 years agoA: Why is it only 2 years total coverage? Another store, in which I won’t name, offers the same coverage for many items. I’ve been told that on a broken fan they don’t provide coverage until the manufacturer warranty expires. Then their warranty starts. I’m guessing it’s different on Apple devices.

I am in the process of having this company “repair” my Fitbit for the second time. After an onerous process of having my purchase verified I sent my Fitbit in to have its screen replaced. I received my item back about a week and a half later and was pleased to have it working and to have kept it out of the landfill. Now I am once again without my Fitbit because the replaced screen left my Fitbit unwaterproofed such that it did not survive a quick dunk in the bath. Frankly I would not purchase this warranty again so that if an item broke I would be able to quickly and easily replace it instead of being without an item I use daily for weeks at a time

The agents are so nice and helpful. I have not gotten my item back so i’m not sure if they fixed the battery life issue, but will update if it is not fixed. The agent was very accommodating and transferred my warranty that was bought as a gift under a different email address to me.
