Q: I bought this Square trade plan with apple watch in single order. Do I need to register my apple watch explicitly anywhere in Square trade website to kick off the protection plan ? Or Will this protection plan by default applied to my apple watch ?

What we always recommend our customer's to do is set up an account online and register their warranty! The way you register your warranty is by making sure that you upload your receipt for the purchase of your Apple Watch to your account online. In addition you will want to include all of your contact information such as name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail on your online account as well! This plan is absolutely awful. I cracked and broke my Oura ring and their customer service is worthless. They will only replace something and don't give you options at all for alternative solutions. Absolutely not buying this ever again.

I purchased this to cover my Fitbit. I have been trying to have my Fitbit repaired and all I am getting is the run around. I guess there is a difference of dates of pourchase in their system. It is a matter of a few days, which is the difference of purchase date and received date. Definitely never buying again.

I purchased the protection plan with square trade and they are in the process of fixing my item now. They have been helpful in answer all my questions and prompt about keeping me in the loop during the whole process. I would definitely recommend it for that piece of mind- unfortunately accidents do happen.

Remember to activate your protection plan as soon as you receive the email from Square Trade. I waited until I needed to use the service and that part was a hassle. BUT, the service I received from the actual plan and the resolution to my claim was EXCELLENT and totally worth the money. I will definitely purchase Square Trade again.
