Screws do not fit the anchors provided. Anchors were weak and easily stripped. Had to start over with our own anchors and screws and now have giant holes in the wall we will have to repair.

Okay, so these aren't super sturdy curtain rods, but I knew that before buying them. They're perfect for lightweight curtains. Anything heavy-duty could be iffy. If in doubt, get the bigger rod of the two so you can have a middle support beam. I had no issues with the anchors or screws, but I used the correct drill bit size so I think that makes a huge difference! I have these rods in our basement bedroom and they're great! I would recommend them!

These are not brushed nickel but polished chrome. But it still worked in a bedroom. I didn’t expect much since they come in a plastic bag packaging. Once you hit the stud you don’t need that plastic piece just a screw. I see many bad reviews with pics where rod is high above the window frame. Sorry but it’s your fault you hand it on the drywall and of course it will not last. FYI stud is around window frame about 1 inch. Even though the metal color is not as described I recommend them.

This rod indexes with “tension rod” search. It’s not tension hence 1 star for the inaccurate description. This is a screw mount rod. The flat ends are the finial design not “flat” for tension purposes which is deceiving. If you want a simple wall mount the design is fine

I purchased 3 (2 dark colored and 1 white). of these for a rental home we are in. The home has very wide window but since we won’t be here long I didn’t want to invest in experience window treatments. These are really nice for the price. They don’t look cheap or sag with the weight of curtains, I’ll take them with us when we move.
