Q: Can you lock both rods in place at the desired length? I can't figure out how to do it...

A: Hi PaoPao, Thank you for your question! There is not a way to ‘lock’ the rod at a specific dimension. Instead, the rods should stay in place based on where the bracket is attached to the wall. Have a great day! - Jackie

These are useless. Nothing keeps the actual rod on the hooks. I’ve knocked the rod off more times than I can count just trying to close the blinds. I’ll be replacing these very soon.

Maybe this can hold gauzy curtains. It is very flimsy. Would have been a good size because the room I have is small so the curtain rod wouldn't overpower the room. But the curtain rod ended up being useless because the weight of the curtains made it bend.

these are extended to the mas 48" for my window. Therefore are not quite as sturdy in the center as I would like. It is well made and just what I needed so I will install a center curtain rod brace which will work just fine for me.

These rods are as expected for the price. Nothing extra special and they’ll be just right for handing cafe style curtains! I would love to find the old style curtain rings with claw clips. Together with the rods would complete the look I am hoping to achieve.

Absolutely flimsy and weak. the two parts kept coming apart and falling whenever I tried to move the curtain along it. It is barely functional, and that's being generous.
