This bookcase is for my cookbooks /top shelf. Bottom is for my oversized books that need a new home. Given I can assemble myself, I'm considering another after a move coming up. Thanks SO much! Nan

This is the 2nd time I've purchased this bookcase... we bought one just like it 16 months ago and my wife liked it so much she wanted another just like it. It's very well packaged for shipping. It's easy to assemble with easy-to-follow directions. For the money and the quality, IMO, this is a great deal. Bonus: And I love that the company is in the USA.

The bookcases are beautiful and I have received complements on all of them. They are very easy to put together. All parts fit together easily and well. Good precise engineering. I would make one suggestion for tools to have ready at home: a T-Square. Prior to the backing being nailed on, the horizontal vertical pieces can very easily slide out of place. I have bought total of 4 five-shelf bookcases and 4 two shelf ones. The first I built were the 5 shelf ones, and I had a great deal of trouble on the first two until I figured out that I needed to frequently check the alignment with my tee square. After that, the entire process became much easier.
