These mini tongs are very sturdy, and stylish. They'll work perfectly for serving large pieces of fruit on a tray, veggies, and cheese and meat trays. These are sturdy enough, I think they'll last generations.

I purchased the Vintage Mini Tong Set by Hearth and Hand to use for snacks, appetizers and mini sandwiches. They are perfect for sandwiches but not as great for the appetizers. There isn't enough give the them so when you try to pick up things like carrot sticks or cheese sticks, you are squeezing too hard to get it to work. I hope they can use a better metal in the future that has more give to it. People shouldn't have to squeeze that hard to pick up items. The color and finish is just beautiful though....so I'm happy with that.

I ordered online so I didn’t see them before I purchased. They are tiny as other reviews have suggested, they are hard to clamp. The metal seems to have a patina on it. I am nervous about the metal material so I will not be using these for food.
