Q: Do the horizontal rods swing out? The photo looks as though they have hinges on one side and a small latch on the other, but the product description says nothing about it.

I was not a fan of these but it’s too late to return. You can hang a few pairs of pants but the wires come undone when trying to add the pair of pants

I purchased a set of these and love them for saving closet space. However, I would only recommend for thinner fabrics like slacks, t-shirts, dresses, etc. Thicker fabrics result in large spaces between hangers.

I don’t know why I didn’t buy this sooner to organize my closet?!
