Unfortunately, this dresser arrived damaged, possibly from being dropped or dragged. Because of the weight, and the frustration of trying to place all of the pieces back into the original packaging, I have opted to just deal with it. I purchased wood filler in the hopes of repairing the damage myself. I won't be ordering furniture again anytime soon. I

I will say they are pretty and the classic look i wanted. Before buying these, I had the white 3 drawer room essentials ones. Those were not my aesthetic, but made do while I found something I liked better. Against my better judgment, I purchased these. I had seen them several times from influencers online. They look great. Size is great, I use as nightsnds. Filled with my books and underwear/socks. They were easy to put together. Came pretty well packed, but very heavy so there was a few tiny dings I'm assuming from shipping. Barely had the dressers. My phone fell off and knocked down on the bottom, it chipped away a chunk. I would not expect that to happen it slid down 2 feet and did that much damage too easily. That being said, I am very disappointed that the quality is not there. The cheaper room essentials one that was less than 1/3 the price seemed sturdier. This is particle board that's way over priced. If you are using in a guest room might work, but as my main bedroom nightstands I feel like I should have saved up for real wood ones that were more. Lesson learned, not only fast fashion sold here but fast furniture too. I guess I expected more from the Hearth & Hand brand

I never write reviews, ever! But, I have to warn future buyers, this dresser/nightstand is so cheap. Packaging is great, no issues there, but the assembly and the fact that this will not last is a fact. It is so cheap for the price, I'm extremely disappointed. I will return and spend the money on soft closed drawers and proper assembly, honestly it's trash! Don't buy, it's so overpriced for what you get.

absolutely love this item and it is honestly a surprising quality for the price point! really happy with this and that is where the 5 stars comes from. however for those wanting to know about assembly, it is tough just because of how HEAVY each piece is! especially assembling alone (which is what I did, so it is possible!), but I would not reccomend this without a power drill - I would have probably been reduced to tears without mine haha. instructions are fairly straightforward, so the difficult for me came from just how heavy this was, so if you're doing it with another person it will be a lot easier. Alone, this took me about 3.5-4 hours probably all up, but I took my time. Very happy!

DRESSER OF MY DREAMS, HOWEVER, the smell of formaldehyde is enough to knock you out. It smells like a morgue in my house. I have never had an issue with furniture smelling of chemicals, and ignored previous reviews stating this. Have tried to let this air out for over a week and the smell is still so horrible and strong. Pretty sad because I wanted to order more, but am terrified I’ll never get this smell out of my house. It’s that bad.

Took a while to put the first one together but the steps are straightforward and easy. Mine arrived without damage and the staining was all even. For the price it's great quality. The drawers seem a little wobbly and cheap considering but ultimately for this look it was fine! I recommend!

These dressers are very good quality and not too hard to put together. Dressers similar to this go for at least double the price making these a great value! Beware that they smell VERY strong and need to off gas for at least 3 days before bringing inside for use.

This is an extremely heavy / high quality piece of furniture! I was honestly impressed by the quality. Despite the weight of the pieces, I was able to build it myself in an hour or so. I lined the drawers with some extra peel and stick wallpaper I had lying around from a half bath remodel and it turned out great!

Started with multiple mis-labled parts. Unable to put on the feet. The screws free-spin and wont tighten, like they are missing something. No pilot holes drilled on one of the drawers. This took 3 hours with 2 people and still unable to be completed due to needing to fix these flaws.

I absolutely love the look of this dresser. It looks much more expensive than it is. The smell is the worst though. Be prepared to place it outside or in a garage for days. It is unbearable.

It’s very pretty and good quality other than the drawers. I can’t believe I don’t see this mentioned in any of the other reviews but these drawers have the weirdest lock system that I’ve never seen on any other piece of furniture. It makes the bottom 2 drawers not line up correctly and get stuck when closing and opening. Luckily I use it as a buffet type table in the kitchen/dining area so it doesn’t get much use just looks pretty. Not practical as something like a nightstand though.

It was damaged in two places upon unboxing. The more noticeable issue was the corner piece inside a drawer (it was cracked) so I decided to try to assemble it anyway and was still able to. However, once I later found a chip on a front facing piece. It felt too late to return it so I am disappointed that I have a new, chipped item for this price :/
