Q: Does it fit under a desk?

A: With the wheels it stands about 26 high. Since a desktop is typically about 29 inches high it might fit underneath the desktop, but probably not underneath a drawer or keyboard tray.

This item was not designed with the ability to be taken apart and customized, and doing so may cause damage to the unit. This is great to store items, BUT the wheels easily break and come off. I bought 2 of these and with 1 set the wheel broke. When I try to put it on, it doesn’t stay and constantly comes off.
Heat the wheel stems in hot water to go in holes!

Roomy, very affordable, and the black went with the decor in my husband's office. To put the wheels on, I turned the unit upside down. In my tea kettle I heated water to boiling and put some in a coffee cup. Then I held the wheels with needle nose pliers in the water and heated the metal stem for 20 seconds. Then I pushed the stem into the plastic hole in the bottom of the unit. Went in so easily, like cutting through warm butter. Wish I'd thought of doing it this way fifty years ago.

I got this to hold my husband's workout accessories so I don't trip over them and break a hip. He can find his equipment easily now. It rolls into the closet or a corner. It not beautiful, but it's not awful to look at when it's out. The drawers are roomy. Seeing through them is a bonus.
