submitted byAmy - 11 months agoTarget staff supportA: Yes, the drawers come all the way out of the box, BUT do not have a FORWARD stopping system. In other words, they will fall out unless you have a firm grip on them. The drawers are fully removable.

Q: does this hold 12x12 scrap book paper? I see the external measurements fit but will the inside fit the paper?

A: NO!!! And I learned this AFTER buying it. The label's dimension says it's 12.5" w for example, but that is the EXTERIOR dimension. The interior dimension for each drawer is 11.75" x 11.75". So close!

I dislike how the drawers are always getting stuck when pulled or pushed. It’s a great price and they’re good size but this a huge minus. Hopefully with time and use they’ll get easier to push and pull.

.25 too short for construction paper. Since the measurements said 12” I thought it fit…but that is the exterior measurement. It’s just close enough I thought I’d make it work but it just doesn’t: and I can’t put anything on it or it will sag. Constantly removing items the kids put on top.

These bins have been very useful with staying organized. I have kids so I use these bins for many things including storing some of their smaller toys. I purchased acrylic drawer organizer small insert containers that fit perfectly into the trays and can therefore neatly store my girls Barbie items (Barbie shoes, small items, Barbie clothing etc). And my son has one in his room as well for his toys. I like that it’s clear so the kids can see what’s inside of them before they pull out the trays. Also, Barbie dolls fit as well. So I have the Barbie dolls placed side by side and can fit a good number of them in there too. I also like that I can use it for storing pretty much any small items and it can be repurposed. I have used these containers for storing items like dental floss, toothpaste, pretty much anything I can think of. The key for me was also purchasing smaller containers (of different sizes to fit in each tray) so i can pack in a ton of items but still maintain organization and tidiness.

If you’re looking for something to put kids items in, this is not it. I bought 3 of these for my kids school and art supplies. I’m not sure how these can be labeled as “slide out” drawers because they indeed do NOT slide house. They’re constantly stuck and you have to lift and shimmy them into place. Not doable for kids or anything your don’t have to fix or mess with every time you pull it out.
