Q: How wide is the extension part? - or the dimension from side to side without the shelf - I need 32" and wonder if I trimmed off the two side if it would fit perfectly.

A: We do not recommend trimming the sides of the drying rack as it would compromise the structural design and might not hold up.

Q: Hello! Love the look and could totally benefit from this however I'm concerned it won't be strong enough to hold wet clothes on hangers to dry. How much weight can it hold not including the smaller hooks on the bottom?

Bars for hanging are sturdy; had to adjust the hangers on the back to be in studs, that’s why it’s not 5 stars. Reviews were correct on the little hangers (and tiny screws), will probably replace with larger ones… Otherwise, very handy and out of the way. Would recommend.

bought this item online, it looked perfect for my laundry room ,, took it out of the box only to realize it was poorly made,, none of the holes ants swerve lined up. After a while of getting them to fit,, one of the boards broke in half, the part where you could hang clothes broke also, couldn't get on the wall without scratching the wall up,, took it down and threw it out

Came with a few knicks and scuffs but I didn’t really care. It is pressed wood/particle board type but the rods are hard plastic for wet items. Worked great for my purposes and not difficult to put together.

I was excited to find this online as it’s exactly what I was looking for, but I was so disappointed when it arrived. The holes are not pre-drilled, they are just marked in the places they need to be drilled for assembly. Maybe the piece I got was a fluke as I am not seeing other reviews with this issue. I will be returning it since assembly will be more difficult than expected.

I have this is my laundry room and I love how it frees up the floor vs using a traditional drying rack that can get bumped or knocked over. Works perfectly for drying kids’ snow gear in winter! The coat hooks seem fairly light duty but the drying bars are sturdy and fold in/out easily. Shelf is handy for the iron and laundry accessories. Great addition and awesome price!

Poor quality and poorly packaged. I ordered it and when it arrived the packing material was shredded and the wood inside was broken and chipped. I thought maybe it was the carrier’s fault so I returned for a replacement and the second one was also cracked and the packaging shredded. Either they don’t inspect before they send or it’s poor quality to be damaged before it even arrives. Not worth $130 to have something that cracks so easily

This is a nice Unit. It is very big. I read the dimensions in the description, but once I actually got it together it was like Woah! Also, the last few rungs of the clothes hanger are kind of unusable, especially if you hang it too high. Mine did come with a little damage to the white verneer on it, but that side is in the corner so nothing a little touch up paint won't take care of. Overall, I am pleased with the Unit. Ask me again in a few weeks once my wife has tried to hang clothes on it.

Just put this drying rack up and it was exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t have any room in our Laundry Room to hang clothes. This is nice and compact when not and use and doesn’t seem to be in the way when we are using it. Hopefully it holds up well

Really liked this item. Was a little nervous about the bracketing on the back but it has held steady. My own suggestion is being aware of screwing the little hooks on was difficult because of the angle. It looks great and has down exactly what we want it to do!

This drying rack is misrepresented it is not wood. It's particleboard I'm very disappointed! Also unable to use the hooks as the predrilled holes are to small. I could disassemble it and return it. But now I would have to hire someone to patch and paint my wall. Target how can you help??

Love this. However, i'm really upset that one of the wooden brackets in the front that hold the rack in place is crooked. The holes must have been drilled slightly not level. It still works but visually it upsets me. Too much trouble to return or exchange. Other than that, I really love it. It looks really nice and it seems sturdy. It really made my unfinished basement laundry room look nice. Also, I think the price is a little high, but I did get it with a percentage off.
