This three piece set is beautiful and very well made. Fits my queen duvet insert well and the shams fit my oversized pillows. The mauve / pink color really looks pretty with many other pieces. It has held up well in the wash, I recommend this set, great price too!
These shams and duvet cover are so soft and warm to the touch. I put them on my bed/pillows immediately after receiving them. The mauve color is so pretty and accents my white bed frame and head board so nicely. These are perfect for the cold weather we've been having. I also love the wood type buttons that open and close the duvet cover. They are thick buttons and feel firmly sewn in place as to where they won't give me problems for a very long time. My only reason for the 4 out of 5 starts is because these didn't come with any type of cover/storage case for when I want to switch them out for a cooler option when the weather warms up. This might be because I received the products for review and they may actually be sold with some sort of storage/cover.
This set is just dreamy! So soft, warm and cuddly. Ridiculously comfortable. It’s such a beautiful color, picture doesn’t do justice. Very luxurious look. Well made, including stitching. Overall, super happy with this set!
“I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review.” Fresh out of the package, this looked soft and inviting. The color wasn't exactly as I expected it would be, somewhere in between pink and orange. I thought it would be more light pink or rose-colored and more appealing visually than it is. The crinkle velvet texture on the top is pleasing to pet with your hands, so I can imagine while lying down in bed, I would likely do this. This could be soothing. It is very heavy and very warm when lying under it for too long, so you definitely need less clothing when using this blanket. My frustration came from washing it. My laundry machines are extra large capacity so there was no problem with that, but the double layer aspect of this blanket leaves a space in between that allows it to severely bunch up on itself. Generally when this happens with a garment, you simply unbunch, unwind and unravel it no problem. With this one, I've never physically struggled with a blanket so hard in my life. It was embarrasing and I'm honestly glad nobody was watching me as I wrestled this thing on the floor in my living room. I'd never seen anything so tangled up in my life, except thin chain necklaces. How it got THIS entangled, I will never understand. I ended up having to shake it violently and beat it against the wall just to untie it from itself. I was breathing heavy by the end. For a blanket, this was mind blowing to me to have to go through all this. I have attached photos, which definitely do NOT do the effort that was required enough justice. But this completely ruined the experience of this blanket for me.
This 3 piece set goes well in my room! It’s good quality and the material is soft! I love the color and the distressed look as well. Only thing I wish is that it was thicker like a comforter, other than that I would recommend m!

I bought two of these (long story) and already wrote one long and detailed review. I stated this product was poorly made and unlikely to last. I sat down to sew in the additional ties because the king size only has four despite standard now being eight and discovered just how correct my initial assessment was. I washed and dried this according to the instructions on the tag. It has not yet been used, it’s already fraying. I’m 39 and have been sewing on a machine unassisted since I was six. I have never had a seam allowance so crooked. I have to assume the person that slapped this together was drunk. So you won’t even get a decent seam allowance that saves you from it ripping apart at the seams. When it happens you’ll have little to work with as you repair. There’s more than one sport where the fabric wasn’t even caught in the serge stitches. If you’ve seen decorative mending videos on TikTok and thought “I want to do that” but had nothing to work with, this is the product for you. If you have a limited budget or don’t want to have to mend a duvet cover every time you wash it, I’d skip this. The Threshold line used to be quality. If this is an indication of the direction they’re going, I won’t be buying anything from them moving forward. That’s a shame as I used to really love the line. Target should be ashamed of themselves putting out a product like this. This cover should be pulled from the shelves, no one should waste their money on it.

Ge ready for a long review. I only use duvet covers and inserts for my family. I own several for my own bed and several for my kids, I've bought them from all over at all different price points. Here are my inital thoughts. I bought the King size. It washed and dried fine, all buttons are still intact, there are no rips and nothing is fraying- yet. I realize I should have checked the desription more carefully but I was suprised to discover this is 100% polyester. I have bought plenty of 100% cotton duvets over the years for similar prices (yes, even some from Pottery Barn). That alone takes a star off. The fabric is very soft, but also very very thin. The backing material is a little bit slippy, there's a rayon like quality to it. This type of material tends to pill, warp, and come apart at the seams. It's soft with a lovely drape, but there's a cost to that and it's longevity- it has none. It's a low pile velour and could have easily been done in cotton or at least had a cotton backing which would have given this more heft and increased the projected lifespan. There are only four corner ties on this. Given most king inserts now come with eight standard this is just the manufactuer being both cheap and lazy. I will need to sew in four more ties before I can reasonably use this. This is a piece that screams planned obsolescence. The material content, with the fabric type, combined with fewer ties than are needed to reasonably stabalize this over the insert, it WILL rip. The buttons are plain, plastic and branded. You'll never see them but I do like it when brands take the time to do a nicer button. The button holes look like they aren't built to last. On such a thin fabric there should be stabalizer (that stuff that's sandwiched between the fabric to make it feel slightly stiff along a button placket or collar). There is obviously none. They folded over the fabric, sewed it down, and put in buttonholes. Hats off to the seamstresses, they did a great job when it must have been a nightmare to work on this fabric. But again, it won't last. There are also little things like the thread they serged the seams with. I bought the mauve and it's white thread. They couldn't even be bothered to color match. I have an H&M duvet that was incredibly cheap in one of my kids rooms and the thread is yellow to match the fabric even though you're not going to see it. If there was a way to cut corners here they took it. I have usedd duvets my whole life and I love how just a change of bedding can completely change your whole room. I'd have happily come back and bought the berry red to save for December and February, I will not be buying another though. My money is better spent elsewhere. Same goes for the white, I love white bedding but knowing I own a white linen/cotton with silk trim duvet cover from Pottery Barn that I paid the same price for and it still looks brand new six years later? No, I'm sorry but a fool and their money right? It's such a shame because the Threshold line used to be great. Oh well.
