Q: For DISTRESSED BROWN only, that looks weathered: is it microfiber or just a faux leather? I don't want cat claws to permanently puncture it when he grabs on after falling off. Microfiber it won't be as bad, hard to tell in pics. TY

If you are looking for storage at the end of your bed this works very well. It is deep and all of my husband's sweaters fit inside. It is a good spot to sit and put on my socks. At night I am able to place my very large king size bed covering on the bench

I bought this to store some miscellaneous items in my recreation space, and it is perfect! Not too big, more medium than large. The fabric seems feels like a quality product and the frame is sturdy, yet light enough for move around on my own. I ended up placing them behind my home theater seats.

Shipping was fast and the storage ottoman came in perfect condition. It looks beautiful at the end of my bed. No scratches or anything missing. All you have to do is screw in the feet to the bottom.

There’s so much storage in this! Like others stated, it’s a little low to the ground, but I’d take the storage over height any day! Super easy to put together...just screw on the legs!

The design is nice, the storage space is ample, and it's practically fool proof to assemble (you only have to screw the feet into the predrilled holes). The outer material finish looks and feels like a really thick cotton linen, which looks nice (if a little coarse). But the overall quality is just OK. The liner on the inside and on the bottom is the material that reusable shopping bags are made from (i.e., the kind with a company's logo on it, given away at events, etc.), so it was already torn when it arrived. The lid doesn't line up with the "box" on one end when it's closed because the hinges are not aligned -- the lid is skewed ~1/2" out of alignment. That might be because the box wall itself where the hinge is attached isn't completely -- it bumps out a little on the inside -- but it might also just be poor craftsmanship. These kinds of defects shouldn't be acceptable on an item that costs over $100. It also has a pretty strongly chemical/factory smell inside, though that's not entirely unexpected; I'm airing it out now to see if that helps.

I ordered and returned the cream color expecting it to be an off white but it’s more beige/tan. Other than the color it was a very well built bench and the leather was not a cheap type.

Distressed Gray is NOT gray. It's a light taupe or a greenish grayish tan. The color is different from product information photos. Overall, seems a well made item especially for the price. Very easy to install feet.
In two of my photos I've added a piece of black fabric and a piece of white fabric for color comparison.
