Got the distressed gray which is most definitely more of a dark tan. The faux leather is soft though the seat is hard but it’s what I expected.

I love the color and size of this storage bench, however, the outside material is a faux plastic feeling leather. I really do not like how it feels at all. Does not feel like good quality at all. Also, the inside storage area, does have a toxic smell. I tried to air it out and the smell is still there. Would not recommend this particular bench.

Love this ottoman! It adds to much to put simple living room. It does not take up a lot of space but works great for storage and a foot rest! I love the gold pieces on it because I love accenting with gold. It feels very sturdy and is even quite comfy to sit on (according to my 60lb dog).

This is a lovely piece, just as described. Only assembly was to screw the four legs in at the bottom, which was simple. We got this in the red leather, and it looks as pictured - and looks like it cost about 3x what we paid for it. Very satisfied. This is our second time to order furniture through Target and we are two for two! Highly recommend.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I was on wait lists with several other stores, for fake leather ottomans, when I ran across this from Target. At about a $50 savings!! The color is a burgundy red, its real leather and it's sturdy with plenty of storage. Thank you Target!

The storage bench is exactly as described. I got the "warm beige" color and the leather is fine (for the price). It sits in my guest room at the foot of a queen bed and the length and height are perfect. Useful to sit on and to store blankets and extra pillows inside. The cat jumps on it all the time but has not done any damage to the leather. Seems like a good quality piece. I wanted something that would not stain or get dirty -- this fits the bill, I can wipe it off with a moist cloth or paper towel. The only assembly required is attaching the wooden feet, super easy. I'm happy with my purchase :)

Wanted a storage ottoman and this was on sale. Hinged top with lots of storage. Easy to assemble- just attached the legs. I ordered the dark brown and the color was what I was expecting. It probably wouldn't hold up as a bench, but works great as an ottoman.
