Q: If this is oven safe up to 500º, why would you not recommend it for baking? Baking is done in the oven. I was thinking of buying one to bake bread(I'm referring to the 1st question asked and answered)

Q: My Dutch oven pan has a piece of enamel missing in the middle of my pan. It is on the inside right in the center of the pan. I dont have my receipt, and I paid cash. Can anything be done about this?

I wanted to love this but I followed the instructions to season the edges with oil (something I’ve never been asked to do when buying other pots like this), and it dripped down, stuck to, and damaged the entire pot by burning brown steaks of oil onto the edges. It was so awful I returned it. It was also very heavy and hard to even lift or wash.

I love my Dutch oven! Figmint Dutch oven has the highest reviews next to lodge (of course). I use mine Atleast twice a week making bread in the oven! It withstands up to 500 temperature and I use mine at 450. Love the color, love figment!

I like my sage Dutch oven, but I'm disappointed that it has lead, cadmium, and titanium. I will selectively use it without heating it. I will only use it to serve. I wanted one in each color. Not anymore after reading about the biochemicals (priority chemicals) https://www.biomonitoring.ca.gov/chemicals/priority-chemicals.

I bought this when I started my sourdough journey as I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on other brands. I’ve made many loaves so far and this Dutch oven has worked beautifully. It holds temperature and cooks evenly. I’ve never had an issue with cleaning or things burning. I cannot recommend Figmint enough.

When my bf got the same pot from target it came chipped and I thought oh it must be a bad mistake. And here is mine, came out the package the knob is wobbly, the package is destroyed. I'll start my return right after I post this comment. Do not even try buying this unless you carry this giant thing from store to home cradeled.

Enamel Dutch oven is a must to have in any kitchen. I enjoy making a big pot of stew and this is definately the perfect pot to use. It has a great inner coating so clean up is super easy. It was so carefully packaged that sending it to someone as a gift you would be certain it would get there in perfect condition.

This Dutch oven is decent quality not the best but decent. It has a good weight to it and feels sturdy But is light enough to pick up easily. It cooks food evenly and is easy to clean. When this arrived the handle was loose on the top and had a little chip on the inside but I screwed it back on and it has stayed in place since. Over all this is great especially for the price.

This dutch oven is great for slow cooking meals like soups or chili. I love it because of the even heat distribution. It is also super easy to clean. I can not wait to try making bread in this dutch oven next!

I’m not much of a cook but I love this Dutch oven. Not only is the color amazing but the quality of it is also amazing. Easy to use and clean. The handle on the lid was a little loose when I got it but now worries we tightened it up with a screwdriver

Really beautiful color pot. Very heavy, as it should be. The capacity is a nice size; to be clear, though, it does seem a bit like a cross between and braised and a dutch oven as it's wider and more shallow than what I think of as a traditional dutch oven. These types of pots are just so versatile, and makes it really fun and easy to entertain.

I absolutely love this 5.5 quart cast iron dutch over pot. It makes the perfevt soup. It is recommended that you hand wash the pot. They recommend seasoning the rim of the pot and lid. It was easy to do. I wiped some oil on the rims and heated for an hour in the oven. The pot can be used on top or in the oven. It is heavy when empty.

This is my first Dutch oven and I’m so excited. I followed the directions and seasoned the exposed cast iron. For my first attempt, I made some bread and I can’t wait to make as whole chicken next! The Dutch oven is beautiful, but it will earn its discoloration soon. This is a great addition to my kitchen!

What a pretty piece to add to my kitchen. This 5.5 quart Dutch oven is made of high quality materials. It can withstand up to 500°. The color is great and will go with any kitchen style. A lid is included which is a nice perk. It is covered in enamel mostly. Be sure to season the parts of your Dutch oven that are not covered by the enamel. Simply cover those areas with cooking oil and bake at 350° for 1 hour to ensure the longevity of your Dutchie!
