This decorative tiered water fountain is designed with four stacked bowls cascading into a pebble-filled base to add tranquility to your indoor or outdoor space. A: Hi, thank you for your question! This fountain is not battery operated. It operates using a pump and transformer and needs to be plugged into a power outlet. It does not support battery use.

It is pretty and quiet. I was expecting a nice brook sound as well. Only hear a hum of the pump which is annoying. Costs twice as much as most table top fountains researched. Will be returning this ASAP.

Light on top is very small and not real bright, only in the dark can you tell there is a light on top at all. I do wish there was an in off switch instead of having plug and unplug it to turn it on and off. The cord is long enough to reach for easy placement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am totally in love with this fountain the sound of the water falling over the rocks is so soothing just makes you think you're sitting on a riverbank listening to the river flow. The fountain is easy to set up just clear a flat surface fill with water a d plug in. It's led light is prefect to enjoy at night.
