It's beautiful and warm, without being too heavy and has a subtle pattern without being distracting. I thought it might be kind of scratchy, but it gets softer with each use and after washing.

I have used it as a lap cover when there is a chill in the air and it does the job. Not a "soft" blanket but gets the job done and is cute!

It has a pretty diamond pattern and cute tassels along the edge. My only complaint is that it lets off little fibers which stick to clothing. I’m hoping after a few washes it stops.
