50"x60" Diamond Throw Blanket - Design Imports

A used item. This was not listed as a third party seller, but seems to be. It was meant to be a gift, but I received a smelly ( perfume plus mold odor) blanket with no tags, nothing. It was thrown in a plastic bag, and shipped in a poly mailer. If Indidnt know better, I’d have thought it was a mistake like a preowned eBay purchase only I bought this from Target. Come on Target do better- maybe screen where you are sourcing products from, or at least make it clear you are ordering from a reseller who is shipping things from their basement. GROSS

Looks nice, but it has strange odor that smells like a combination of musty basement and twice-baked fabric softener. The odor dimished very slightly after 3 washes (detergent, then vinegar, then oxy-bleach), but still not enough for the blanket to be usable indoors. I'm guessing it's some type of chemical treatment for the cotton. The blanket is fairly light and thin and might be useful outdoors, assuming you can tolerate the odor. The blanket also shed enough fibers in the wash to make a small sweater (do NOT wash this with anything else in the drum) and left an inch-thick layer of lint in the trap. As expected, it shrank quite a bit and is closer to 48" x 52".

Arrived moldy. Returned immediately

It looks fine, but it smells weird and I can’t get past it. I am probably going to use it when I’m sitting outside by the fire since it already stinks.

It has a nice texture to it and it goes perfect with my farmhouse chic decor. The only complaint I have is it had a weird smell to it when I got it out of the package. I washed it and it was as good as new!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my DII - GRAY DIAMOND THROW and I happy with it, more or less. Before buying it, when I saw it’s picture, it seem a little different to me. But I guess it is alright. It is different, but not bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the gray color of this gray diamond throw, as it is a neutral color that goes well with everything. It is a lightweight knit type of blanket, but it is not very soft so we use it over another blanket (which is soft) or just for decoration. I do wish it was softer to the touch as well as a bit warmer, but it is a nice accent piece and can work well in the not too cold temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a very big fan of throw blankets that are both pretty and practical. Unfortunately this one missed both marks for me. The quality of it feels just fine. The colors were a little dull for my taste, even though I’m a big fan of neutrals, both the grey and taupe in this blanket read too yellow for me. The hand-feel is also not great. I wouldn’t say it’s scratchy, but it certainly isn’t by any means “cozy”. This throw unfortunately won’t serve an aesthetic or functional purpose for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this gray throw with cream colored tassels. The colors and print allow it to work with a variety of decors. I really only see myself using it for decoration, however, because the fabric is kind of stiff and scratchy. It isn’t comfortable to curl up with on the couch. The throw also had a really strong odor right out of the package. I washed it right away and the smell lessened, but it makes me wonder what kind of chemicals were on it to make it stink so bad. Like I said, I will be fine to throw over a chair for looks, but isn’t very functional in my opinion.

You can use it on a daily basis or on your bed, for a pininic or outside on one of those Chilli nights. This throw is just right where you don't get to hot or overheated. This has become my new nighttime cuddle blanket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to wash twice to get the smell out. As soon as I opened the package, it smelled like humidity and it was not pleasant. Material is soft, and once I mentally get over the barrier of the former smell, I hope to enjoy the snuggles under it.

When it 1st arrived if had an absolutely awful chemical smell though. A wash cycle later it was perfectly fine. It’s perfect for keeping you warm while watching tv. I’m pretty happy with this.

It has a chevron style pattern and a gray and beige tones that really match my Decour with a fringe at the end. My only issue with Astro is that it’s so easily damaged since it’s quilted. It’s snags on any little thing and already has three or four pools all over the place. I would just suggest to be very careful if you have it so I don’t recommend it with pets or destructive toddlers.
