Q: Would this lamp work with a round shade as well? Can it be switched out?

A: The shade can be replaced as long as it fits with the socket ring that is holding it in place.

A: The poles have breaks in them, they are 3 pieces all together but look pretty flush once everything is fastened.

AWESOME lamp! We got this for my husband’s home office / lounge room. I was a little concerned, based on other reviews, that the brass rods wouldn’t be the same color. But the lamp we received was perfect! We are using it with a 40w incandescent appliance bulb for low, moody lighting. This lamp was packaged very securely and everything was in excellent condition and the shade is blemish-free. HIGHLY recommend this lamp!

I these work perfectly in the space I wanted them for. When I took this photo, I had the couch squished up against them because the tree is on the other side. Otherwise they look better when I have both of them on either side of my sofa.

Love this lamp - looks very nice - but the gold color bars are slightly off as other reviews have said, it doesnt bother me, - it's not like you are sitting right up close and staring, so its not overtly noticeable - great buy - love it!

It’s a beautiful lamp but the middle rod of the middle piece through which the wiring goes was a different color than the other rods. You can see it in the picture. It’s a shame bc it’s a pretty lamp.

We own this and a lamp similar called the Weston Floor Lamp. This outshines the Weston Floor Lamp. This had quality packaging, and sturdy, easy to put together pieces. The lamp shade also has a plastic lining on the inside to keep the shape over the years. I would definitely buy again. The pieces lined up perfectly. Great quality for the price. I hope target continues to carry this brand.
