Q: What bulb base/socket is needed for this lamp? The description says E27 in one place and E26 in another.

A: I was able to verify that (1) E26 socket, type A bulb is recommended for this specific lamp. With 40 watts max or 8 watts max CFL.

I think this lamp is beautiful however I hate the charging station. It is hard to use and the light is too bright for a dark bedroom. I also don't like that the lamp is stationary and not adjustable to move the shade/stand are not adjustable. You need to move the whole lamp with the base to direct the shade where you want it which then changes where the on/off switch sits.

This lamp was exactly what I was looking for. It’s beautiful and has a mcm vibe to it and I got it on sale. The lamp does lean, before you set it up tighten the nut on the underside of the base. It should fix the problem. The globe feels like it’s going to chip when you’re installing it. It’s beautiful with the light on or off.

The lamp assembly is easy and quick. It seems pretty solid once it goes together. I am not using the step on/off switch because I have the lamp in a switched outlet. I put a smart bulb in the socket so I can dim the light and give it color. Because I am using the smart bulb I like the globe and exposed bulb feature. It was too bright with a regular bulb.

This lamp is so beautiful and is a nice touch for my living room, one thing I will say though is start from the top when building and pull the cord through as you go. Also make sure you put the glass on last. It’s super sturdy and I highly recommend.
