submitted byPhonsavanh - 5 years agoTarget staff supportA: No, they do not all fall out when tipped over. Each compartment lid securely snaps closed and then each compartment snaps securely back into the overall holder. The release "mechanism" is using your finger in a hole in the back, to push out the one you need. I've never had a compartment fall out of the holder, and I've had mine for at least 5 years. That's another reason they're perfect for traveling. For extra safety in suitcases, etc. when things get jostled around, I simply enclose the whole holder inside a ziplock bag.

Q: Is the day of the week and am/pm designation painted on or is there some indentation to indicate which day of the week/time on the case. I dislike the ones that are only painted because it often rubs off.

Q: Are these easy to open or do you have to push in the bottom part for the lid to pop up? Need something easy to open for arthritic hands.

A: Hi ME - Thanks for asking! This particular pill planner has individual compartments that open by applying upward pressure to the lip with a finger. To close, apply pressure to the compartment lid downward with a finger, which then snaps the individual compartment closed. - Adam

A: Yes, the compartments are medium-large, and I'm able to put 12+ supplements in each of mine. Some of those are huge horse-pill size! Yes, I contacted the manufacturer, and they emailed me back that all their pillboxes are BPA-Free.

Q: How can I be sure to receive the bright orange and blue colored pill box vs the light color combination?

A: The only boxes I have ever seen in stores are yellow (not orange) and blue, so I think the blue and green is an old color combination. I am guessing that you would be pretty much guaranteed to get the yellow and blue now.

This worked well for several months but after about 5 months, the lettering started to fade significantly. Around 10 months one of the doors popped off and I had to buy a new case.

We've used this pill organizer for my son's leukemia meds. We've never put it in the dishwasher or overly scrubbed anything, but many of the days are missing their labels. This completely negates the point if you can't read which day is which.

This pill planner works as intended. The feature to remove each days pills is useful. My only complaint is that the daily info printed on each lid rubs off very quickly with normal use. On the new unit I have applied clear tape to preserve the printing.

It's what I needed for at home, daily pills. It has room for many pills, but it isn't HUGE or ungainly. Maybe not ideal for travel, depending on how much space you want to dedicate. The flaps definitely stay SHUT. They were a little hard for me to open (I'm "only" 42...). I have this same item from several years ago, and I had to replace it when I lost one of the days, otherwise I think it would have lasted for many more years. It's a great price point.

I bought 2 for my mother’s meds, snd I liked that each am/pm compartment pops out for travel, but ultimately I had to return them because my elderly mother was unable to open them. The lids do have a very tight fit, which is even a little tricky for this 50 year with arthritis in my fingers. Bummer! Target has very few choices for pill boxes in store so I had hoped that these would work well :(

This is TINY! I wanted a pill organizer for my supplements and thought this might do...it did not, sadly. Pretty small for my needs, but if you only have a couple pills to organize it might work.

Basic AM/PM pill planner. Latches closed really well so you’re not afraid your pills will come out during travel. Held up well and kept everything in place when I brought it on a road trip.
