You will absolutely need a shower curtain liner with this. Otherwise by itself a lot of water gets on the bathroom floor. It is not water proof.

It was easy to install (just like every other shower curtain). It is very pretty, and honestly, it opens up the room a lot. We have a dark painted small bathroom, and this new shower curtain really brightened things up. The color is good. It is not see through, and I am pretty sure that you can't tell if someone is hiding behind it or not (or that's just our lighting). We really enjoy this and I plan on keeping it up even after we paint our bathroom (a color that matches better). My husband who isn't really even into decorative things loves this curtain.

It has a hue of a Dark Blue, Dark and Light Green, Teal, Black and White, on the flower. Surrounded by a White background. It was easy to slide my shower hooks inside of the slots of the shower curtain. While in the shower lighting can be seen and a shadow which is a plus to provide privacy while showering. I like this shower curtain and I'm glad I got this for my Bathroom.

They are sewn around the holes. The colors on this curtain really pop and you can tell what the design is. Of course, being cotton, you still have to have a liner behind it.
