Q: Does the 26.25" width include the moulding which appears to stick out a bit at the top and middle? What is the width excluding the moulding?

A: The bottom section is 19.25"high without the adjsutable shelf. On the top section the middle shelf is fixed. The height above and below is 24 inches.

Q: Would this be sturdy on carpet? or is there an attachment to the wall?

A: Yes, it is heavy enough that it will be fine on carpet but there is also a strap that can be attached to a wooden wall stud.

Q: What is the inside dimension of each shelf? They appear to be 13" deep. What is the inside width and the height?

A: yes, they are 13" deep and 23." wide. The bottom section without the shelf is 19.25" high. The top section has a fixed shelf in the middle. Above and below are 24"h. Each shelf is 5/8" thick

Q: Hi, I would like the dimensions & just how easy is it to assemble? I just had a piece that was a doozy. The cam screws did not fit. I can’t go through this again.

I knew with the price this probably wouldn’t be the best quality book case, but it is very decent for the purpose of using it for my children’s books. I did not like that the back panel is folded in half so you can visibly see a crease. It also will 100% need secured to the wall at the top because it tips over easily. Also, none of the boards were labeled so I had to pay attention very closely during the directions to make sure I was putting the pieces in the right spot.

Great bookcase for the price. Looks nice too for particular board. The instructions were easy to follow. No parts are labeled unfortunately but I was able to figure out which piece was which easily enough. Very happy with the purchase. I also love how tall it is!
