Q: Why can’t this be used on rayon? What particular ingredient in this product is the reason behind not being able to use it on rayon?

A: When rayon comes into contact with vinegar or other products with a low pH level, it can cause shrinkage or other distortions. This is because the rayon fibers tighten up when exposed to low pH.

A: Thanks for reaching out to us. As of the 2021 relaunch, both 9 Elements Laundry Detergent and 9 Elements Purifying Softener no long state the number of loads per bottle. The reason for this is is because these figures are approximate and can vary based on how much product is used each time. To get the most out of the bottle, make sure to follow the dosing directions. For regular loads, fill to just below bar 2 on the cap. For larger loads, fill to the 3rd bar or more. Q: What amounts should be used with HE machines? The amount recommended on the label for regular loads is more than the max on my HE washer.

Most detergents have such a strong perfume scent. This detergent doesn't! It's a very light, clean, fresh smell. Cleans our clothes well. Removes odor and stains. Kind of pricey but worth it. Lasts at least 2 months in a household size of 4.

We love the scent! This is the cleanest detergent I’ve found at Target and the scent actually stays through the wash! It’s a little pricey for me to use on all loads and I wish it came in a different type of dispenser bc it does tend to spill on my machine if I pour directly from the bottle.

This is supposed to be a cleaner detergent and was graded A on EWG, however, the fragrance very strong and synthetic smelling. It makes me wonder if they either changed their ingredients or someone switched the product in the bottle.

I have used this product in the past and liked it. I usually make my own detergent but needed this in a pinch. When I used it this time, there is clearly a change in the "fragrance" which is now very strong and clearly synthetic. I am so disappointed in this change. I'm sensitive to chemicals so had I known this, I would have left it in the store.

This product smells awful. It's not a good replacement for the Lemon. When they discontinued lemon I stocked up but am almost out. If you notice, they have given people and paid people for positive reviews. I find that highly misleading. They did this to push real reviews down.

I haven’t tried this scent, have used lavender and eucalyptus. As indicated by others, the ingredients in this and the lavender scent are now synthetic which is of concern to me. Thankfully, 9 elements DOES have ingredient transparency and this link provides the list of what makes up the ingredient listed as “fragrance”. You can search the ingredients in EWG (environmental watch group) or just google them. Most of the ingredients are not of concern or are low concern and then mostly it’s an allergen/irritant. We love this brand so much especially the citrus sent. We’ve tried each of them and our least favorite sent is the lavender. I also do not love how inconsistent the bottles are filled. However, most of the time when checking out there’s a manufacture coupon so it makes thisdetergent, a great value for a quality product.
