Q: How wide is the opening of the pitcher? I wondered if one can fit their hand inside for easy cleaning? Can I use boiling water to make iced tea in it if I put a metal spoon in it to absorb heat?

I don't know if I got a weird one or something... it was a little too heavy and unevenly weighted, it felt kind of unwieldy. I only used it about ten times before it spontaneously broke, I made lemonade in it and placed it in the fridge where it suddenly cracked with a ping noise and started leaking. Kind of hard to clean too because the opening is smaller than the base, it was uncomfortable and tricky trying to maneuver my wrist around inside without dropping it with how weirdly weighted it was. There are better pitchers. I wish target still sold the plastic large capacity pitcher.
