These actually work! I had to come leave a review since it’s been a journey to find the right curtains for my baby’s bedroom. These are so cute AND do what they claim, which is make the room dark and cozy. For reference, this is a western facing window late in the day (lots of sun).

These claim to be 99% blackout (really curious how they quantified this lol) but these are even less blackout than the "full blackout" curtains Target sells and nothing I have seen at Target is remotely close to a true blackout. I understand these are for children and they wake up at the butt crack of dawn anyway, but they are also cute curtains that could work for grown adults seeking blackout curtains (if they were truly blackout). Don't do it guys - taking these back today :(
