I love Persephone's POV but Hades POV is so much hotter. I don't know if it was because Clair has created this incredibly alpha male that we then get to see vulnerable or if Hades is just that hot. A Game of Fate tells the same story as a Touch of Darkness but obviously from Hades side. I love how Clair has presented Hades as both strong and sensitive. I greatly enjoyed learning what his motivations were. Unlike when an author writes a dual POV in one book Clair has given herself the ability to really flesh out each character and I feel like we really get to know them. One of my favorite things about how this is written is that we get to see what Hades is up to when he disappears. I loved his relationships with Aphrodite and Hephaestus (I need their story). I will continue to recommend this series. 5/5 spice with a plot. 18+ reading age
