A Love Song for Ricki Wilde was an emotional read. It was sweet and cozy at times and devastating at others. There are two main characters and two timelines that are always in stark contrast. This had a powerful effect while I was reading. It really highlighted how far things have come, while subtly reminding us there is still a long way to go. Reading it with the current political climate was disheartening. The progress and hope felt in the modern day timeline feels like a dream compared to where we are at the moment. However, this was a joy to read. The romance was sweet and the chemistry was definitely there. I really liked the supporting characters. Mrs. Della had great wisdom to share, while Tuesday kept things light and had me laughing. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance, a green flag MMC and a touch of magic!
