A black background with white numerals would be much easier to read.

Display screen is horrible!

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

Unit seems to work well, no connection or set up issues but the display is horrible! Unless you’re looking directly at it, not slightly to the side or slightly above or below it, exactly at eye level, you can’t read it. Probably going to see it back.

Thank you for the time that you have taken to write your review, we appreciate your feedback! LCD screens typically have somewhat limited viewing angles. The viewing angle for our displays is optimized for typical display setups, such as on a side table, where it is meant to be seen at eye-level or from slightly above the display. For the best results, please make sure that you are using standard alkaline batteries from a high-quality brand. If there is ever anything that we can assist you with, please reach out to our support team via live chat or email request on the AcuRite Support website. Have an amazing day! Our first unit lasted about 10 years, we bought a new one for ourselves, and one for a brother and his wife for their 70th birthdays. Love the improvements on the new one!

This is my 4th or fifth that I have bought a couple of gifts. On March 14 a category F3 hit where I live tree's on houses and next door the house blew over and 75 feet away was my AcuRite and it was on the chain link fence post all the fencing and gates and a huge tree fell over next to it and the only thing at that moment that was gone was the spinner! I happened to have an extra one and put it on there and it worked but it slowly has gotten same funny noises and isn't accurate. The digital in the house read before the spinner blew off 95 mph!!! I thought they were guaranteed for 100 miles an hour! lol I thought that was crazy!😁 so I'm not living in my house yet but it is still spinning! I didn't replace it yet because it helps me with my little bit of PTSD. By the way a forensic tornado expert said we were 150 from the center at 153 mph! Thank you so much for AcuRite Iris 5-1 weather station! Sincerely, Tish Bonham Indian Lake, Ohio

Easy to read from a distance. Features are good. However, would like a daily, weekly and monthly rainfall totals

I like my old monitor better because this one is hard to read from 7 feet away. Less contrast.

I've had this set up for just a few hours and it's great! It was a birthday gift from my uncle and I can't believe how good this is. I was a little skeptical because my grandpa had given me a temp and humidity reader that A) took 14 days to connect and B) display died. It wasn't from AccuRite, but this is a huge upgraded. I would recommend!

This is my third AcuRite Weather Station . I have gotten many years out of them. I am only replacing my last one because a storm over Memorial Day ripped it off its mount and carried it 50 yards causing it to break.
