Alaffia Eucalyptus Tea Tree Authentic African Black Soap - 32 fz

I love the fresh, invigorating scent of this soap, as well as the velvety lather it creates! My skin feels clean and healthy after using it. It doesn't dry my skin or leave any residue behind. I also use it to wash my hair, and it makes my scalp feel fresh and clean without drying or damaging my hair. I'm excited to try some of the other scents.

Noticed a change in consistency and appearance. Used to be thick and luxurious with a sort of changing opaque color. Now much thinner and runny in consistency and less opaque in colour. Very disappointing

This used to be my fav go-to product, and now it’s awful, completely useless in comparison to how it used to be. The quality has fallen so far from the previous version, and that’s wholeheartedly disappointing when you consider what the brand vision once promised. This is unacceptable.

I have been using this soap for my hair, face and body for several years now, and I had quite the supply stocked up because I love it and it often sells out! I noticed on my newest purchases the ingredients have completely changed and it also is now drying my scalp out, is a thinner consistency and overall lacks the quality ingredients I originally came to love Alaffia for including in all their products! Please bring back the old formula and please stop changing your products formulas!!! I was proud that your company had kept a good ingredient list for so long and now have become disappointed as most of your products I use have changed and it is so upsetting as I really hate searching for new products and I was really hoping this brand would stay focused on high quality blends of natural ingredients but I guess Alaffia is cutting costs just like all of the other “natural” brands I once loved. Alaffia, prove me wrong and bring back Neem derived ingredients to your products and other benefitical natural oils, extracts and butters PLEASE!!

I love the smell of tea tree and eucalyptus. The soap is gentle, doesn't affect the skin's natural barrier, moisturizes, and cleans without stripping the skin.

First try of this product. Seems to be working well on my scalp.

I LOVE Alaffia. For one, the cause they stick up for is amazing. I've tried numerous products, this one I like because the quality, ingredients, and the effects its had on my skin.

Did you change the formula? I have a bottle with the giraffe on it and it is thicker and muddier than what I recently purchased. Did I buy the wrong thing, or did you change?

Works great and smells amazing! Don’t expect it to lather like regular soap, but it still works it’s magic!

Seems to be a good skin cleanser that does not dry out my skin and does not contain petrochemicals.

Love the smell, if you're looking for a lot of lathering that is not going to happen with this soap which i am fine with because I feel clean after using the soap, my skin is not left irritated or sensitive from using it and it didn't disturb my PH levels. I used it on my face (my face loves it), I shaved my legs with it as it says you can use it to shave (this is not a shaving cream or gel don't expect a soap to be that or you will be disappointed) won't do that again. Used it to wash my 4b/4c hair (my hair was not happy). My five star is simply for this soap as a soap and a soap alone, nothing more nothing less

I used this as a shampoo and I was a little skeptical at first as it’s an all in one product but I was very happy. It isn’t a thick shampoo so it’s easy to apply through hair and it left my scalp feeling clean without any product buildup. It rinses out well and smells amazing but also not too strong.

I really want to love and support Alaffia as a company because I love their mission and clean ingredients. However, this is the first soap I’ve tried using and I tried it as a shampoo primarily. Since I switched I’ve noticed my scalp has been itchy and I’m wondering if it’s one of the ingredients. If someone from Alaffia is reading, has this happened to anyone before with this product? Is there another shampoo you’d recommend that you think would solve this issue? I really want to find a product I love here.

Love it! Perfect for really cleansing my hair. Keeps in clean and feeling great. The scent is pretty strong which I absolutely love. My scalp gets that little tingle that you normally get with tea tree so it feels like a deep clean.

No problems so far! There is an interesting smell to the product.

Great for my skin…tried many different types of Alaffia black soap and but tea tree was the best
