Please note that some retailers may still have minimal inventory of our old formulations so, to ensure any product is reef safe, it’s important to check labeling to ensure the products are free from oxybenzone and octinoxate.

I love the feeling texture and packaging, but it broke me out so bad my skin didn’t recover for so long and I didn’t realize it was this product breaking me out for a long time not worth it

You know a product is good when you stock it up . This sunscreen is really affordable, reef friendly, cruelty free and leaves no white shield! Would recommend if you're looking for a new sunscreen, but beware, as it is kinda oily.

I'm now in my 40s and rarely if ever have a face breakout. But when I tried this I had one every day. My mom in her 60s likes it but it doesn't work for me. I'm liking my spf tinted moisturizer better.
No luck under makeup.

While I like this sunscreen for protection, I think it's very greasy to use under other products. Although I rarely wear makeup, that was my goal in purchasing this sunscreen. The formula hasn't caused any breakouts, which I appreciate, and has agreed with my sensitive skin just fine. I think the citrus-candy smell is fun and it fades quickly if you don't care for it. However, given the appearance of this sunscreen under primer / foundation / concealer / powder / everything I've tried, it isn't what I was hoping for based on reviews.

I was really excited for this based on the reviews and other Alba botanica products I’ve enjoyed. It’s really tacky and sticky and has an AWFUL sweet smell. It feels like you are rubbing melted candy all over yourself and not in a good or luxurious way. Definitely not worth the price.

It doesn't make me breakout, applies on smoothly, doesn't leave any sticky reisude, and it sits well underneath makeup. I love how I can feel confident in knowing my that face stays protected against the sun with this! It's also not oily which is what I would experience with other face sunscreens.
