I purchased the beginner 3-piece set about a month ago. I have always hand washed them but this 3.5” paring knife wouldn’t slice small, sugar sweet tomatoes this morning for omelets. I wonder what is wrong. I will contact All-Clad today and see what next steps to take. I love All-Clad EVERYTHING. Hope they will replace it for me.

I recently needed a new knife, current set is 25 years old, and tried out the new ceramic kind. To my dismay I did not get the sharp cutting edge or the fit to my hand handle. I then tried Forged Knives, 3.5 paring knife and now I want the hold set. Sharp cuts thru potatoes with hard pressure, cut tomatoes without mushing them, and can peel an carrot with no problem.

The knives are of excellent quality. I was a bit skeptical of the size of the serrated knife at first, but it's been more than sufficient, and it works better than larger knives when cutting bread. The ability to fit 4 steak knives, which I'd already had, in the wooden stand was also convenient, and the stand itself is gorgeous.

No trouble just amazingly quick to cut right through. I cut a stale piece of bread and I thought it was so easy I didn’t expect that at all. I love them
