Q: I purchased this duvet insert over others because it had both the OEKO-TEX and Responsible Down Standard Certifications. It arrived today and these aren't shown anywhere on the labels or packaging?

Q: Do the feathers come out of this comforter? I have purchased two down feather with and without combination of down alternative from casaluna and threshhold and both blankets the feathers came out.

Q: I recently purchased this item. Is there a way to get the smell out? There is a musky duck smell, which is not surprising for a duck down comforter, but it's had to handle.

I chose this duvet insert over others because of the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certifications along with the claims of "ethical sourcing practices" in the description. There is NO indication of these certifications anywhere on the product or the packaging. Other products I own with these certifications have labels on the item. It is also less fluffy than my certified 550 fill duvet. I feel misled. The product I received does not mach the description that I used to make my purchasing decision.

Hate it! It's the lightest, most NON warm down blanket ever! What a waste for the price of this thing! Don't buy- I wouldn't buy anything from their brand after this.

It's a very fluffy and well-made comforter. I bought it because of the fillpower and because it is advertised as machine washable/dryable. When it came from the box though, it did have the strong smell of duck. I tried to wash and dry it right away, making sure it was completely dry (took 2 cycles). However, the smell still lingers. Perhaps this is just a part of owning a duck down comforter that I was not aware of but I personally can't get past this smell. It's shame that I have to return it. I liked everything else about it.

Bought this as a replacement for my old Eddie Bauer all season down duvet. This duvet is definitely warmer than my old one. Says it's all season but I can confidently say it would bake me in warmer weather. I keep my bedroom 65 degrees and I am still getting a tad overheated in the Autumn months leading up to Winter (I live in Colorado). I prefer to sleep cocooned but I find myself sticking out an arm or leg to cool off with this duvet. If you're a cold sleeper this is probably for you, if you sleep warm just beware you might get a bit overheated. I'm excited to use it in the colder winter months, I think it'll be excellent. However, it won't be staying on my bed year round. Washes well except it takes ages to dry properly (though you can say that about any down duvet). Perked right back up when it was fully dried. The duvet really is fantastic and well made, check out their lightweight option if you sleep warm.

I've bought many down pieces through the years and so far this is the absolute nicest quality at an affordable price. Very lofty and warm. I've used it for about a month and so far the quality is great. I paired it with the Bokser french linen duvet and they fit perfectly together and that is also very soft.

This is a wonderfully soft down-filled feather duvet. It has handy little straps in each corner to tie in the duvet cover. We got the covers from Pottery Barn Kids, which have ties. This is a great insert for that. I’m docking one star because for the price I wish it was slightly heavier. But we live in California, so the kids will be fine. Good product. Well made.

How often does someone wake up and tell the world they love their bedding? Well, count me in. Love this. Wife sleeps like a mummy and always cold. I range from hot to cold to cold to hot - this is PERFECT for me. Tried the rest.

Fluffy and super light. Perfect warmth and great quality. Only complaint is that is listed as King/California King size and it really just is large enough for a regular king size bed, so a little short on both sides, but love this duvet insert and would buy it again!

I was looking for a 700 fill comforter for the loft and the look of a fluffy bed. This comforter is perfect for that and is so luxurious. It is so lofty and although I put it in a duvet the actual comforter itself is beautiful. It has a pretty tiny bit of shine to it. It’s not too hot either it’s perfect and my favorite comforter I’ve ever purchased.
