Dust on Almay Loose Finishing Powder after applying foundation and concealer to lock in makeup. Shake a small amount of powder into the lid of the container. Load a large, fluffy brush with powder and tap it against side of the lid to get rid of any excess on the bristles. For a soft matte finish, gently buff the powder all over your face in circular motions. Makeup artist tip: You can also use the powder to "bake" in your liquid or cream makeup. Use a foam blender to press on a lot of powder, and let sit for 5 minutes. Then dust away any powder that hasn't fully soaked in with a fluffy brush.

I have been buying this powder for years, but somehow this last purchase the 100 Light/Pale powder is orange and dark. Did they mistakenly put a darker shade in the container? There is no way this powder is the same shade I have been buying for years.

So this powder is so disappointing because the powder itself is really good and I have tried every loose powder out there and dislike most. However the shade is horrible. I need the light shade and it’s so dark and turns orange pink when applied. I use a puff and press it in and the color is just terrible. I wish they would make this is an actual light neutral shade then it would be amazing.

I love Almay makeup and have been using since my early 20’s. I use to use covergirl, Revlon and Loreal but my skin would have reactions for some reason so I tried Almay and had no problem. I grew up with great skin, thank goodness so i knew it was not acne problems it was something in the makeup’s.

This powder is great because it comes with a puff to apply it. It is inside of lid. This powder is great because I have not noticed cremating, but remember to use moisturizer before using this because it may dry your skin.

I was using the L’Oréal true match for years but I recently found a concealer I love and that powder did not work well with it. I have been wanting to try loose powders again. I’m glad I picked this one! It has a very minimal smell, not as messy as some, and very natural looking on the face. I noticed my concealer doesn’t crease into the lines around my eyes as well. I’m seeing people say that the coverage isn’t good but it never claims to have coverage. It’s a setting powder not a powder foundation.
