Altec Lansing Shockwave 200 Bluetooth Wireless Portable Speaker - Black

Everyone loves it. We use it for our outside and in house parties. Sounds nice.

Feels very cheaply made. The power button barely works, you have to try many times. The sound was muddy, but the bass was solid. The lighting effects are fun, but can't be controlled from your phone. The battery life is very disappointing - at about 60-70% volume it only lasted 4 hours, which is 1/3 of the advertised 12 hours. I wouldn't recommend this item, it doesn't feel like a quality speaker. It's also not very loud for how large it is, with the exception of decent bass response.

I recently used this party speaker at our family Easter event and it was a big HIT! My adult children and grandchildren loved the sound and lights. Easy to set up and connect. Great sound quality. This is an ideal party speaker for a large party or small casual/family gatherings. The LED lights are colorful and fun. Makes it fun for everyone! Can't wait to use these party speakers again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this speaker every day. I have used it both indoors and outdoors and have not been disappointed. The sound on it is excellent. It is easy to carry around. Connection is simple. It has a nice bass sound to it as well. The battery life is much more impressive than I expected it to be. If I have the lights off on it, it lasts easily for 2 days.

It needed to be plugged into the wall the whole time. It kept disconnecting every 30 minutes and I had a constant buzzing sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Altec Lansing Shockwave speaker is a large speaker that is great for party’s or any large gathering. It plays loud and has very good bass. The mid and high range sounds are a little lacking but you can use your music services equalizer to adjust that. Boosting the treble or higher frequencies really wakes up the sound.

Comes with a stand for upright appearance or you can lay it flat. Tons of different light settings for all you party needs. Nice clear sound. Love it !!

I love having the buttons on the speaker itself to work it, but also being able to work it from my phone is a plus! The colors are fun when they light up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Altec Lansing Shockwave 200 Bluetooth Speaker. It is the perfect size and I can take it anywhere. It has am/fm radio which I like to use. Bluetooth works great. Also I can hook a microphone to it and do karaoke. I love using it on my ledge near my hot tub. It is waterproof and I don't have to worry if a little water gets splashed on it. The led color chasing lights are a nice night time feature and it lights up the place. There are so many different options. It is easy to charge and lasts a long time on one charge. I would recommend this speaker to anyone looking for an attention getter that works great!

It gives great sound and with the multiple lighting effects, it is like having your own DJ booth. I like that it can be used horizontally or standing upright and it can also be mounted on a pole. It has a nice carry handle and easy to use button interface. It is very well constructed and durable.

I couldn’t believe the sound quality and the ease of connection with bluetooth. It gives you the option of using the lighting and several lighting options (to go with bass, stay still, change colors etc. ) we use this indoors and outdoors, as it is easy to move and light weight while also large enough to keep the party or togetherness fun! Definitely recommend this product and will be on the lookout for others!

This speaker is large and loud and sound very clear. It has three different bass settings to it that add amazing sound to it. Its also really convenient that it has a radio setting to it.

It has lights that go in different sequences, colors, and moves to the beat of the music you are playing. There is a FM turner, and you can charge your phone. The sound is nice and loud! You can control the volume from your bluetooth device or the speaker. It is easy to carry around. Perfect to take to parties. I can't wait to get additional speakers so I can get the party started!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this speaker. It's not too big and the handle on the top makes it easy to carry around. It's louder than I was expecting and the bass is impressive for It's size. I used it for about 4 hours the first time and the battery was still going. The light effect features look pretty cool after it gets a little darker outside and there's a few to choose from. There's a jack for a microphone that i haven't tried yet, but it should make for some fun karaoke. All around great choice for get togethers or just on your own at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this Bluetooth speaker. It has a convenient handle for carrying since it’s fairly large. It also has just plain FM option which is nice for when my phone is not with me. It also has a place for a stand if using at a party and microphone plugin. The sound is loud and clear. It’s got a lot of bass and can sound muddy when on certain music types. The lighting is a nice feature we enjoy. I just wish I could adjust the treble on it.
