Broken. Only lasted a few months.

After reading all the reviews I thought this speaker would be a great speaker for my cheerleaders to practice on the field 😑 there is more base bumping than volume. Horrible purchase, these reviews are very misleading

A great speaker. It’s loud and crisp and clear High’s and great Base also a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

USB-C charging cord doesn't fit properly so it doesn't charge. Bought a separate USB-A to USB-A cord and it still won't hold a charge. It keeps telling me that there is only 10% battery left and keeps beeping.

Bought two of these to pair together. I’ve used a set of Sony SRSXB35 for years but battery life just isn’t always there. These have a bit better but are bigger speakers overall and have better lighting. USBc charging is nice and audio sounds good. They go loud enough without distorting unless you have the bass all the way up. One thing this is missing is battery level. I’m pretty disappointed I can’t sss a charge percent. I checked the manual and online but nothing. A single light on the back to indicate active charging, but I have no idea if it’s close to dead. There’s also no app to use like the Sony had. For the price, I expect less features, but even an indicator on the back with 4 lights wouldn’t be too expensive. Overall I’d buy again but I got it on a good sale

This speaker is not loud enough for outdoors. We bought it for a small party and you could only here it on the side the speaker was pointed at and our yard is not very big. I looked at the reviews and saw nearly five stars and bought it quick without checking if all of the reviews were promotional (which they were). Not a very good speaker. Expected a lot more sound from such a big speaker. Upside you can adjust the base which was cool.

It has such clear sound and it really get loud. The LED lights are awesome and my kids love it! Definitely a great buy.

It has great sound quality, is super easy to use, and the battery lasts a long time. It produces a lot of bass and the volume is able to get very loud but also very quiet.

I'll admit I got curious and checked to see if it would connect to an Android based TV (a Sony Bravia in this case) and it worked. I'm pleased with this product and its awesome that you can link multiples together, I might get a couple more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new speaker to use for parties this summer and I am very happy I went with this one. It's not too big and the handle on the top makes it easy to carry around. It's louder than I was expecting and the bass is impressive for It's size. I used it for about 4 hours the first time and the battery was still going. The light effect features look pretty cool after it gets a little darker outside and there's a few to choose from. There's a jack for a microphone that i haven't tried yet, but it should make for some fun karaoke. All around great choice for get togethers or just on your own at home.

I’ve never heard about the brand before but I am totally in love. For the price of the speaker the quality is amazing. If you get this bigger you will not be disappointed. My children get a kick out of the fact that it is a party speaker. I also love the color of the speaker and the fact that it has a handle is very different from the competitors.

The bass is ok and the placement of the speaker in a room really makes the difference. It gets loud enough to fill a living room. The lights are a cool feature the kids love. There are a few ways to get your audio to the speaker which is a plus. The battery life is great as well.

This thing puts out some serious sound despite its small stature which also makes it perfect for travel. The setup was super smooth and the altec lansing compatibility to sync up with other speakers is easy as well. The battery life is impressive as well, 4 hours of listening and it’s only at 90%. I can’t say enough good things about this speaker.

However the Altech speaker surprised me. It wHas ver y good sound and lots of features, it has many fun light settings that ar e super cool on the patio after dark. very happy with the speaker and search8jg for a good place to store it. Will use for many fun nights on my patio this summer and beyond

We are also known to throw the occasional party, so we have been looking for a portable speaker that can actually fill the backyard or bigger spaces. We found the right one! It was very easy to set up and get the music rocking. Its not very heavy and easy to move around. We really like that it has the handle. We even took it to our son's baseball game for walk-up songs. Highly recommend for parties, outdoor events, or just casual listening. Oh yeah and the lights are awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Altec Shockwave wireless speaker is ok. I'm not to crazy about the amount of sound it produces versus the size of it. I have had way smaller speakers in the past that put out way more sound. Now I'm not completely downing this speaker it has good sound quality and the light show is awesome with 9 different settings. I'm just not a fan of how little sound it produces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Altec speaker is a great speaker, the bass is on point!! Loud music, changes colors to the bass of the music your playing. The speaker will also charge your phone, when you hook it to the speaker. Definite must have for any occasion, love listening to music while cooking. I take it outdoors when I cook on the grill, had some compliments on how well it sounded. Definitely a speaker I’d recommend to anyone looking for one!!

Treble and overall sound is awesome, but bass isn’t as loud as he preferred, but I think it’s perfect for me or any other normal person! Pairing is very easy and I really like the lighting options. Charging is pretty quick and battery life is really good. I like the overall design with the carrying handle and compact size. It’s also lighter than my other JVC speaker. Great product and Altec Lansing is a very reputable/quality brand that I trust.
