[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet is not only super cute, it’s so easy to use! Right out of the box, it was pretty self explanatory to set up. Everything is packaged neatly and easy to access. It was charged just enough to power on and set it up. I really liked that I was able to have it ready to use upon getting it. I was very happy to receive it, and who doesn’t want a chance to check it out immediately! The battery life lasts quite a while. I charged it, and it’s going on 2 days without having to recharge so far. I will note that it did take quite a while to fully charge though. So I’d recommend charging overnight. The best part for me is the built in stand! It’s so sturdy! The fact that it doubles as a carrying handle is even better! I love it so far!

The battery lasts a long time and it has apps available to download kids love including Disney+ and Nickelodeon. I love that it emails me right away for permission for my son to even download an app. The availability to set up parental controls is wonderful and we are grateful for the 6 month Amazon kids subscription included. The 8in HD display is superb and the sound and picture quality is amazing. The case included is an unexpected bonus too, complete with a stand so you can watch videos hands free.

It has all of the apps my boys watch for shows and movies. I love that they can also read books or play games as well. The screen time restrictions are really helpful to set limits for certain apps and helps with ensuring they have a mix of educational and entertaining content when allowed. The UI on this latest version is really user friendly and makes it easy for my boys to use independently.

I like how most apps are educational and well designed for kids their age. They are also able to download the fun games like Roblox and they have a lot of fun whether it’s at home, on a mini car ride. Now for the parent part, it gives me a peace of mind knowing that I have full access to the settings and I am able to control what apps they can get on. I can also give each kid a profile under their age bracket and give them time limits for each day. I am also able to pause and resume devices. I like how the screen isn’t too big or too small, the functionality of the processor runs smoothly with all the games they have on there. The case is super durable and prevents breakage when accidentally dropped, which hasn’t been an issue but it is nice to have. The overall product is super lightweight which is nice. The charger that it came with charges the device in a timely manner and the device holds a charge super well throughout the day. The sound quality is super great and you connect a headset if preferred. To sum it up, we are very pleased with the product.

With its protective case that it comes with, it's perfect for little hands and has a built-in "kick stand" so kids can sit it up to watch, read, or play. The screen is the perfect size to play fun games or read, with perfect screen resolution. You can even adjust the light depending on comfort level. With it's 6 month free subscription to Amazon Kids, it's endless in kid friendly fun and entertainment. It has built-in parental controls that bring comfort and can be adjusted. It does lag sometimes, but it's not a huge problem and is a perfect first tablet.

The battery seems to last quite a while at least from what I've used it for. The screen is huge and gives a great display for the kids playing and watching videos! The overall performance is way higher than other tablets, has many features for parents to set up for kids use depending on age.

My son loves it!!! However, despite it's appearance, it's not sturdy. It's less than a month old and the screen shattered. For perspective, my son is non mobile, so it wasn't dropped from any height over 1'.

You can do a lot with this even when it’s for kids. It’s great as it has an app that you can control things from there. It comes with a 6 months free trial to Amazon kids plus. I like that’s it’s light and easy to carry. Easy to put in small places unlike other tablets that are bulky with the protection case. It comes with its own stand. You can add your Amazon music and your own apps outside of it. The clarity of the tablet is great. Battery life is phenomenal. We forgot it in the car and it’s freezing temps. Didn’t even dent the battery life.

The kids menu starts off with a bunch of apps that the kids are able to download right from there. There is no option to remove these apps from the main screen, so if you don't want the kid to download these you may have to find a way to block them. My eight year old found this to be slow and laggy. He's big into Minecraft and Roblox and this tablet could not keep up with him. It did stream Netflix and Hulu well. There was a lot of apps available, but not a lot he was interested in. I think this is better for a younger child or for a first tablet.
