Solid, beautiful dresser with a few quirks

Beautiful dresser. Like other reviews mention though, the varnish does have a bit of a smell that I'm hoping air out on its own. It took me about five hours to assemble alone with a hand drill. I would recommend asking for help for moving it around, because it's very heavy. The drawers don't fully extend, but it seems pretty average compared to other dressers. I think some of the drawer issues mentioned by other reviews are likely assembly error (I can't entirely blame them though, since the instructions can be slightly hard to follow). Based on the overall quality and difficulty of assembly, I'm happy that I bought this on sale for less than $500. I wouldn't recommend buying it at full price, but I do love it.

This is the sixth piece of furniture I put together this year. As other reviewers have stated this is not an easy piece to put together, but that is not why I gave it one star. The drawer issue where it only pulls out halfway other reviewers have mentioned it, it's true and it's a real problem. The second issue is when the drawers are installed the piece is so heavy that you can't even lift it to put sliders underneath to move it around. I live in an apartment, I need to move things around. The final issue is the smell and I am not sensitive to smell, but I purchased it in May and it's now almost October and it's still smells. Is it an attractive piece of furniture absolutely but it's not practical.

For everyone saying the drawers do not open all the way, you've done something wrong. That is "operator error" not a design flaw. I love this dresser and would buy another one for a spare bedroom as well, without hesitation.
Disappointing Drawers

It is super cute but the drawers coming out half way was so disappointing. The bigger drawers it’s not as bad but the shallow smaller ones.. Can’t even see or reach into the other half of the drawer if it has stuff in it.

I love how modern and sleek the dresser is. It has such a warm color to the wood and the directions were helpful! The only downfall is the drawers do not extend all the way out, but I think if you were to move the brackets closer to the end of the edge of the dresser, they would be. Anyways, I love the way it looks and it does its job.

Cute dresser, but don’t waste your money. Doors only open half way and are very flimsy. Ended up running and purchasing one from elsewhere.
Very Disappointing

I couldn't be more disappointed in this dresser. I bought it to use in my nursery, and once fully assembled found how poorly made the dresser was. None of the drawers open all the way, most stopping a third of the way out, others as far as half way. This makes usage an inconvenience nightmare, especially if you intend to use it for baby things or in your nursery. Building it is impossible to mess up with pre drilled holes, after careful inspection by myself, my husband, and both of my parents we came to the unfortunate conclusion there was no fixing these issues, it was literally built this way. Cant imagine why anyone would want drawers that hardly open half way. Worse yet, the drawers don't even open to consistent distances, and most of them are crooked. The edge of one drawer will stick out an inch passed the one next to it, somthing I was convinced was an issue with assembly untill further inspection proved otherwise. Don't buy this dresser. At this point getting a new dresser, disassembling this one and dealing with returns isn't somthing I'm able to do this far into my pregnancy. I bought this thing at about $450 on sale and holy heck do I still feel ripped off. Do better target 👎🏻
time-consuming, but WORTH IT!! trust the process!

looooove how this turned out!! i took my time on the assembly, and it says 2 people is recommended, so i had a friend join me. it’s pretty tedious with prepping all the panels, so having two people can help speed up the process. the only time i felt like i really NEEDED 2 people was for assembling the whole dresser at the end, as its a bit long and gets heavy once the whole frame is built. otherwise, you could get away with doing it by yourself but it’ll take you forever 😅 i read a lot of reviews that said the drawers didn’t work right, but i feel like those people didn’t fiddle with the drawers enough to troubleshoot what was wrong. i did, and i figured out what worked to get them set in right. it seems like if you shimmy the drawers left, right, up, and down, until the sliders click in, and keep doing that until the drawer is all the way in, it pulls out smoothly and should go back in smoothly. its SO worth the time to assemble, it took me about 4 hours, with about 2hrs of that with help from a friend- but we took breaks to tend to her 4 month old baby, and to get water, etc. again, we took our time. if you’re caffeinated, childless, and used to assembling furniture, you might hit the estimated assembly time on the instructions! (2.5hours) 😂. a great addition to our bedroom, highly recommend!!!

This took over 8 hours for my husband to build, we upgraded our dresser to put the smaller one in our nursery. Come to find out the drawers don’t slide open more than halfway. In the description it says “full extension drawers” but I would not consider it that. The image on the site shows the drawers only out halfway which I thought was a photography choice, but it is clear it is a reflection of the product. Very disappointing as we were upgrading to larger drawers to fit more. Can’t fit more if you can’t open the drawer 🙂 Other than that the handles and wood finish are very pretty and go with our room well.

It was tedious to put together but looks great at the end but the drawers only slide out halfway. Double checked the directions but still couldn’t get them to come out all the way
Well worth the assembly process.

Absolutely LOVE this dresser. I read all of the reviews before purchasing so I knew what I was getting myself into. The assembly does take quite a bit of time, but it was well worth it in the end. The piece is extremely well built and uses a lot of high quality materials. This is what leads to the fairly complex assembly process. Do not be dissuaded by the reviews complaining about quality or issues with the drawers, this is most likely due to them rushing through the assembly. Overall one of my favorite pieces in the house and I highly recommend to anyone willing to take a little extra time and care putting it together :).

Beautiful piece! Using it in our nursery. It does take a while to put together and the drawers require a little force to initially place in but other than the lengthy building process, it’s a great quality dresser.

The dresser itself is beautiful! The quality, not so much. We followed the very lengthy instructions putting this together and the drawers are all messed up. A year + later and I thought I would get over it but I still wouldn't buy this dresser again or recommend it.
Not worth the money!!

The dresser is absolutely beautiful, especially with the handles. Also love how the top drawers are different sizes. The color is also really nice. Even though it’s a beautiful piece, I’m giving this only a 1 star because of how terrible it is to pull out the drawer and push it back in. You literally have to tug with so much force in order to open and close a drawer. The manufacturer’s didn’t leave any wiggle room for the face of the drawer and cut it the exact size of the space it comes out of making it difficult to pull in and out. Also, the drawer slides are not smooth at all. It’s just surprising how expensive this is for the drawers to be so difficult to pull out. We have already assembled and it’s way too much effort to take apart and return. The top of the dresser also came scratched. We were very careful unboxing so we know that we didn’t dink it. Again, a drawer with this price tag shouldn’t come with terrible drawers and scratches! It also took 6-7 hours for one person to put together. I’m surprised this dresser has so many good reviews.
Beautiful!

Really beautiful once put together! Looks just like the pics. Almost a walnutty color. I put it together myself in about 5-6 hours. I don't think you'd be able to do this without a hand drill.

I love the look, the color, and the quality, but it's been a few weeks and the varnish smell will not go away. I filled the dresser with clothes and had to wash all of them and have no where to put those clothes. Not sure when the smell will go away.
Time consuming but so worth it!

Needed a spacious, durable and stylish dresser for the arrival of our twins and this was exactly what I was looking for! I must warn you, if you are doing this alone, go slow and steady. There were so many pieces that it may make your head spin. It’s also time consuming to put together, a whole day. But once it’s together, you won’t regret it! It’s heavy and beautiful!

Got this dresser in white with the matching nightstand and couldn't be happier. It's a gorgeous, sturdy piece. All the pieces were well-packed (came in three separate boxes) and the instructions were easy to follow. Took me about 6 hours to assemble by myself.
